Brutal Murder In Park

This morning the body of Bob Sheldon was found lying next to the park fountain. His body had a single stab wound in his back which had pierced his heart, killing him instantly. Alleged eye witnesses say that a small boy who was a member of the "Greaser Gang" attacked and killed Bob and intended to kill the rest of them. Sherri Valance, a cheerleader for the local high school, claims that she was with two Greasers when Bob approached them in his car and threatened the two Greasers. Be on the lookout for the two boys, the first boy is Ponyboy Curtis, has long light-brown hair, green eyes, and stands about five feet tall. The second boy is Johnny Cade, has long jet-black hair, large black eyes, and stands about four feet six inches.

Outsiders Theme

The main theme of The Outsiders is that everyone is the same in some way no matter where they are from or what their social class is.

Story Comparison

"The Dog of Pompeii' and "A Secret for Two" are similar because in both stories the main character is blind, the main character shares a special bond with an animal, the animal helps the main character because he's blind, and both animals die. I think that "The Dog of Pompeii" is more believable because dogs are friendlier, easier to train, and more likely to help humans than horses. I think "The Dog of Pompeii" would make a better, more dramatic television program because it has alot of death, despair, and destruction caused from the eruption. I would choose "The Dog of Pompeii" as a better book because it has more action and suspense.

My name is Blair. I have a very large family that consists of my mom, Donna, my dad, Terry, my brother, Kyle, and my two sisters, Pam and Carly. My dad is a very famous chef and used to own a restaurant just out of town. My brother currently holds the school record at D.P. Todd for the most times being sent to the principal's office. My sister ,Carly, is known throughout the whole school, and not in a good way. I have the tendency to get injured more often than a normal person, an example is I slam into walls at least 10 times a day accidentally.
